GDA was contracted to prepare a Master Plan for the museum’s expanding programs and collection. Founded in 1974, the organization was ready expand their vision of what the farm museum could be. GDA’s concept was to recreate late-nineteenth century vernacular Berkeley County farm and farmhouse. The first implementation of the Master Plan was the design of an open display shed.

  • Developed Master Plan including projected construction costs and phasing of work
  • Solicited Bids from builders
  • Assisted with volunteer labor force to install siding on Display Shed
