Description
The Peking Restaurant relocated to a new building in downtown Martinsburg after more than 25 years in the old Gateway Hotel. Under separate contracts, GDA was hired by the restaurantor for the complete interior renovation including kitchen design and storefront signage and also by the building’s owner to provide interior shell improvements such as building systems and a new storefront design.

Project Highlights

• Incorporated historic Martinsburg interior into dining room design
• Coordinated the equipment design of new kitchen
• Custom design features including concrete bar, booth seating, banquette, lighting design, altar, Asian roof, exterior dragon/pheonix sign and screens
• Separate smoking and non-smoking bars
• Mezzanine dining area
