Description
GDA was contracted to design the baths and shower rooms in the Shaw and Turner residence halls, a $400,000 renovation project. Following the completion of this work, our contract was extended to include the renovation of Thacher, Kenamond, and Gardiner Halls.
Project Highlights
- Reuse of existing marble wall partitions, upgrading the plumbing, electrical and heating systems
- Designed to meet all A.D.A. requirements
- Successfully met aggressive construction schedule occurring between academic semesters
- Evaluation of the wear of original materials to ensure that the selection of new materials would have greater longevity and lower maintenance
