Description
A $15 million restoration and adaptive reuse project involving the conversion of a former retirement home for merchant seamen, into a cultural center and museum.
Project Highlights
- While employed by Cabrera-Barricklo, Architects, Matthew Grove and Lisa DallOlio served as two of three team members who were responsible for the preparation of architectural drawings for the project
- Designed by renowned 19th Century architect, Minard Lafever, both the interior and exterior of the structure, are individual landmarks on the National Register of Historic Places
