While still residing in California, the client sought out a firm to design their new home on the east coast. GDA was entrusted with the commission to design the home and interiors after several firms were interviewed. Rarely meeting face to face over the 18 month design and construction period, exchange of information relied heavily on the internet and conference calls. The house was designed to accommodate the family's wish for a design that would capture the golf course views and be comfortable and elegant without being too formal.
