GDA was called upon to renovate shower rooms in four residence halls built in the 1960s. Every effort was made to reuse existing materials such as marble wall partitions, plumbing rough-ins and ceramic tile. Upgrades were made to finishes, fittings, ventilation, code and ADA compliance. GDA conducted a schematic design evaluation of the wear of original materials to ensure that the selection of new materials would have greater longevity and reduced maintenance.
